A temporary customer number is used when a customer number is not listed as a transport agreement on your domain.
For example, if you only send to a recipient once.
If you want to add a temporary customer number, you must first enable "Temporary Customer Number" on the consignment template that you want to use.
To do this, go to "Your Account" - "Templates"
Select the Consignment template you want to use and click "Edit"
Under the heading "Freight Payer" you will find a column with "Temporary Customer Number"
You check the box "View" depending on the type of temporary customer number you want to enable.
You can now choose between " Consignor's agreement ", "Consingee’s Agreement" or "Third-party agreement"
Save the changes at the bottom of the page.
When you create a consignment with a temporary customer number, go to "Create consignment"
Choose the correct template - fill in as usual but when you are at "Freight Payer", tick the temporary customer number.
Please note that "Temporary Customer Number" is not accepted on all transport services.
